Important Update - Twilight Time Trial

On May 8th, we will hold a mini, mock practice meet for all of our swimmers and parents.  It should run 5-8pm.  NWAL Rules stipulate that we need to have a timed event so that all of our swimmers have a current time going into our first meet.  We can’t have any NT (no time) entries at any meet, so we’d like our swimmers to get a time in every event before our first meet.  This will be very important for seeding relays at the first meet as well.

Due to time constraints, I have changed the entries to the basic 4 strokes for most swimmers. Only free and back for our 6 and under swimmers.  If you would like to put your child into more events, please LOG IN and update their entries.  Examples:   If you want your 6 & Under to swim breast or fly - please add that.  OR if you want your 10 & Under to swim the IM - you need to go and add it.    OR if you know they absolutely will NOT be swimming Fly this season, you can take them out for the Time Trial (but we prefer to have them give everything a try!!)

    1.  Please RSVP  for this meet so we know how many to expect.  We don't want any empty lanes; it will slow the meet down.

    2.  Double check your child's entries.   Please add if you want your child timed in something that isn't listed.  (It will only show what they are eligible for.)

    3.    We also need you to volunteer for this meet if you can.  Choose the  button and select the job you'd like to do.  We've broken it into 3 session (5-6pm, 6-7pm and 7-8pm) for the timers.  We only need one timer per lane!

Remember, it's just a practice meet...there will be no DQs and all times will stand for our first official meet. There will be NO RELAYS!  If we run out of time at the Time Trial, we will do some timing at practice too.   This is a practice run for new or young swimmers AND for our parents to learn about volunteering and how easy it is to be a timer.  We'd like to see everybody out there on the 8th for this fun, evening practice meet!

Swim Shops of the Southwest will also be on site at the Natatorium selling this year's suit.

    Thanks,

    Stephanie and Stacy
