Happy Memorial Day!  

• Morning Practices start tomorrow at Adamson Lagoon (schedule posted under "news" menu and "team" menu), if you are not able to make morning practices; there are evening practices on T/W/Th at Halloran Pool.
• Meet entries for the Huntsville meet will open as soon as the volunteer positions are filled, and will close Wednesday at midnight.
• Pentathlon mid-season invitational is on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Klein Collins HS just south of The Woodlands.  The full invite is now posted on the links section of the website.
  • Attendance at this meet is 100% optional.
  • Swimmers entering Pentathlon are required to swim all 4 strokes in the length of their age group, plus an IM. FIVE ("pent") total individual events at one meet.
  • In order to swim Pentathlon a swimmer must have a 2016 time for every single event.  Time trial times do count.  However, this means if your swimmer wants to enter pentathlon and they do not yet have a time for all 5 events--either from a meet or our actual time trial on May 7th, they need to enter those remaining events this weekend and achieve a time--not get a DQ.
  • That also means we will need you parents to step up and get our volunteer positions filled for the Huntsville meet so we can open meet entries.
  • 8&U do not have to have a time in IM prior to Pentathlon, but they must have a time in all 4 individual events that when added together meets the time standard.  ALL swimmers, event 8&U must swim all 5 events to be eligible for awards.
  • Time standards are posted on the links section of the website. Contact the coaches if you are not sure about how to determine if you meet the time standards to be "invited" to Pentathlon.
  • Deadline for entering Pentathlon is Tuesday, June 7th, so Tsunami Swimmers wishing to enter Pentathlon MUST RSVP YES to Pentathlon by Midnight on Monday, June 6th.
  • The entry fee for Pentathlon is $25/swimmer.  Details about making payment to the team/city will be provided to those swimmers who RSVP for the event.
  • The host team caps entries at 700 total swimmers, we will notify those swimmers planning to swim in the meet as soon as our entries are confirmed.
