Howdy Parents, I know the Tsunami Season seems almost like a distant memory as many of us are now focused on squeezing the last bits of joy our of our summer holiday, and getting our kids back to school.  But, we would appreciate if you would take a few moments and fill out this survey about your 2016 season:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8HK7V9K

Any of you who might interested in serving in a permanent volunteer role to help us guide the team, please email me directly with your name and contact information.  We are hoping to put together a parent council to help us improve the Tsunami experience for everyone.

Also, please keep in mind, that the team offers discounts (via an end of season refund) for parents who get certified by NWAL as stroke & turn judges, starters or referees (though you have to first be certified as stroke & turn and serve for a year before progressing to Starter, which is a pre-req for Ref).  Those certification and training courses are put on by NWAL at no charge, and typically take place in March and April.  We will try to get those schedules out to all returning parents and parents who register early enough earlier in the spring . . . but you can also find that information be going to the NWALcertified.org website.  If you are interested mark your calendars to start looking to February or March.  Our team would definitely benefit from several additional certified parents!
