Hello Tsunami Parents!

 

I can hardly believe our season is going by so quickly! There are a few things to keep in mind this week in regards to our swimmers swimming races they haven't yet gotten to try:

- All of our swimmers must participate in TWO meets before they can attend Divisionals on June 17th! If your swimmer has only attended one meet so far this year, our home meet against Lee County this weekend will be their last opportunity, so please remember to complete meet entries and RSVP before 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8th. If you have any problems signing up please contact myself, Coach Michelle, or our Secretary Katy Peterson!

- In order to swim a race at Divisionals, our swimmers must have a time from a previous meet. In this case, TIME TRIAL TIMES DO NOT COUNT!! If your swimmer has swam some events but not others, they will only be able to swim those events that they have already participated in. Fortunately, our swimmers have one last opportunity to swim any races they haven't been able to try yet this Saturday!

- Speaking of time trials, if your swimmer does not have a time trial time in an event, they will not be able to swim that event against Lee County, meaning they will not be able to swim it at Divisionals either! If your swimmer has only tried two events at meets thus far, this week is the perfect time to get a time trial for another race so that they can compete in our max of three events. You can either let us know at practice or contact me at [email protected] to set up a time trial in practice so that your swimmer can swim their new event against Lee County.

 

Please keep all of these in mind as we continue into our last two weeks of practice. Again, thank you all for such a great season and go Tsunamis!
