Howdy Tsunami Parents,

 

First and foremost, congratulations to all of our Tsunamis for winning Divisionals today! After the medley relays our team was ahead in points, but event after event with our lead growing steadily, we ended up finishing the day with 1568.5 total points with the Bryan Barracudas and Huntsville Lakers scoring 1285.5 and 1127.5 respectively. Whether it was scoring points, having a positive attitude, or cheering for our team mates, each and every one of our swimmers added something to our team and every single swimmer should be proud of themselves for a job well done. Speaking of a successful swim meet- all of our swimmers who placed in their events today are able to pick up their medals/ribbons on Monday! (Come in to the office and check out the trophy you all earned as well :) )

Now that Divisionals is over, the next meets to prepare for are Trinity and Ponderosa! Remember that these meets are totally optional AND require cutoff times. For anyone who is interested in these meets, ENTRIES ARE DUE AT 4:00 P.M. SUNDAY JUNE 18TH. Because of the nature of paying for these meets, no late entries can be accepted whatsoever so it is so important to get those entries in tonight or tomorrow morning. Coach Michelle was able to put together a detailed list of steps to follow in order to sign up for these meets so please put them to good use!

Remember that our season does not end after these invitationals! Our team will be practicing in the morning up until our final meet on July 15th. There is no extra registration required once our team switches to the TAAF season, so if your swimmers would like to keep practicing and competing, please keep coming! 

None of our coaches have been able to experience a first place finish at Divisionals, so again, congratulations on the first Divisional win for College Station in quite some time. You all should be so proud of yourselves,
