Howdy Tsunamis!

​IT IS INVITATIONALS WEEK!!!! Good luck to all of our swimmers competing in Ponderosa & Trinity Swim Meets this weekend! Here's what you need to know...

PONDEROSA

​Ponderosa will be held at Klein Oak High School. Tsunami warm ups will be from 7:20am-7:40a. We will also need to provide a back up timer for the first session on BOTH days of this event. I am certain that our amazing volunteers will not have any problem filling that position. ALL information regarding Ponderosa swim meet can be found on their website. The link is also on the Tsunami website. Information on their website will include warm up times & lane assignments, Timing assignments, Officials Sign Up, Timeline as well as the location of the pool. ​TRINITY

​I am attaching a diagram of the pool as well as the information on warm ups & lane assignments. We warm up from 7:20a-7:40a both days. I am also attaching a timeline so you have a tentative schedule and some information to give family members who may want to come see our swimmers at this meet. The Trinity Summer Classic will be held at the Conroe ISD Natatorium.

​Trinity is also requesting volunteers:

"As we close in on the big meet this weekend, the Trinity team would like to remind our hosted teams that we require a small number of volunteers from the Large and Medium-sized teams swimming with us.  Large and Medium teams are required to provide at least 2 volunteers for a single shift on Saturday, and 3 for a single shift on Sunday (since there are two pools).  We would also enjoy having volunteers from the Small teams, of course! 

Deck volunteers will receive a wristband to allow deck access, and we encourage multiple shifts for parents who want to be close to action.  To sign up to be Timers, Scribes, and Runners, please direct your team's parents to click the Trinity Summer Classic SignUp.com link.  It's fast, free, and your contact details are kept private." 

​​Volunteers will be allowed on deck (with a wristband) otherwise this area is strictly controlled. Timing is a great way to get to see your swimmer during their events.

EXTENDED SWIM SEASON

​If you have not filled out the survey yet - ESPECIALLY if you will be continuing to swim - please do so by 8pm tonight. We need to get adjusted practice times out to the entire team and your input is valuable! ​One other quick reminder: Did you know there is a RIBBON BOX? Have you been wondering where your team pictures are? Please be sure to check the file boxes when you are dropping your swimmers off or picking them up - or maybe remind them to do that. These boxes are usually placed right at the entry of Adamson Lagoon - on the counter as soon as you walk in the doors. There are lots of ribbons & some pictures still in these boxes & the coaches know you want to see these!

Again - good luck to all of our Tsunami Swimmers who will be participating in Invitationals this weekend! After this everyone will be preparing for TAAF on July 15th here in Bryan!
