Invitationals
Pentathlon entries are due today! If you are interested in attending this meet, please complete your entries ASAP! The meet will be on June 8th at Klein Collins High School.
Swimmers competing in this meet will swim ALL events. They must have at least a Time Trial time to be able to compete in this meet. Any entries submitted without all the required times will be deleted after the entry deadline has passed. Please review the cumulative time requirement for these events included in the meet invitation as well. I will be checking those numbers to make sure all entered swimmers DO qualify. Swimmers who do not qualify based on time will also be deleted from the entry list prior to submitting.
Entries for Ponderosa and Red, White, & Blue are also open! Entries for these meets close on the 13th.
Away Meet @ Navasota
We have our meet against Navasota on Saturday! Remember to have your entries done by 12pm on Thursday and make sure you mark relays correctly! We did not have as many issues this meet with relays because everyone marked it correctly, so thank you!
Divisionals 6/14 @ Bryan Aquatic Center
The Divisional Championship Swim Meet will be at the Bryan Aquatic Center on June 14th. All swimmers must have participated in at least 2 swim meets AND have a legal time in any event they would like to swim to be able to participate in the Divisional Swim Meet.
TAAF Season
After NWAL Season we move straight into TAAF Season. Swim doesn't end at the end of June. We will be in the pool practicing until July 24th and we will have 1 more local meet at Bryan for the TAAF season in July as well!
Practices
I have had a few parents ask about practice sign ups. There are no sign ups for the summer schedule! Swimmers are allowed to attend either the morning OR the evening practice, but not both and they can switch it up! Our evening practice has been very crowded, which we are happy to have so many swimmers, but we do ask that if your schedule allows you to attend the morning practice that you do so. Also, please send your swimmers with water and make sure they wear sunscreen! As the temperature gets hotter, it is super important that the swimmers are staying hydrated!
Awards
Please make sure you are checking the boxes on the table at the front for your swimmers awards! We also have extra Tsunami shirts that we are trying to get rid of, so please take some!
Registration Closing
We will be closing registration at 12pm on June 6th! If you have any friends who are interested in joining the team, let them know!
As always if you have any questions, please email me!
See you soon!
