Good Morning Tsunami Families! 

We have a few updates this week so please be sure to read the entire email...

Water Temperature

We hope everyone stayed safe during the storms! Thankfully the sun is shining and the weather is warm! I do want to give everyone a heads up that the water temperature is currently at 72. It should get warmer throughout the day, but it will most likely not get above 76. We will still be hosting practice for those who still want to swim, but I understand if you and your swimmer decide to skip. 

For those who want to swim, we will be having a shorter practice for the 8 and under and 9-12 groups. The 8 and under group will be in the water for no more than 30 minutes and the 9-12 will be about 45 minutes. We hope to see everyone tonight! 

Lee County Swim Meet

Our meet against Lee County is THIS weekend at the Giddings city pool. I should have everyone updated on their Time Trial times (IF they have done them). If not, email me ASAP! 

Entries for the Lee County Meet are due by NOON TOMORROW! (Noon on Thursday 5/8)

We have to merge the meet by 6pm on Thursday.

Please be sure to mark your swimmer accordingly for Relay availability as well. Those are assigned by the computer. If your swimmer does not want to swim in a relay please mark NO RELAYS. If your swimmer has to leave early mark them as LEAVING EARLY NO RELAYS.

I will send out the schedule for the Lee County Meet on Friday.

Also, we still need volunteers!! Please please please sign up to volunteer!

Practices

We are starting to get our groove with practices. Please try to have your swimmer here on time. Try to arrive at practice 10 minutes early so we can get everyone in the water on time. Please remind your swimmer to get their equipment and check in before going to their lane. Sometimes we adjust the lane assignments & your swimmer will not know this unless they check in.

OFFICIALS

If you have not yet completed your Background Check or met with me to get that done we need to do that ASAP! Please email me with a time to complete it if you would like to do that through the City of CS. If you would like to do that on your own, please get that taken care of.
