Howdy Tsunami Families!

Just some quick updates & reminders for you this week...

We NEED Officials

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider attending a class to become an Official! There are classes for Meet Ref, Stroke and Turn (SNT) , Clerk of Course (COC) , Computers (COM) , and Team Website Management (WEB). You can find additional descriptions for the positions in our rulebook HERE!

We will be hosting a Stroke & Turn and a Starter Certification class on April 12th!

If you are planning on attending the class, please RSVP on Swimtopia after you register on the NWAL website. ALSO, if you have a swimmer that would be available to demonstrate during the on-deck portion, please comment on your RSVP! 

8:00am-10:30am we will be doing the Stroke & Turn lecture portion at Adamson

11:00am-12:00pm we will be doing the on-deck portion of BOTH the Stroke & Turn and Starter class at the CSISD Natatorium

12:30pm-2:00pm we will be back at Adamson for the Starter lecture

Please look at the NWAL Certified website for other certification classes! If you have any questions about becoming an Official, please do not hesitate to ask! 

Swim Team Evaluations / Meet the Coaches

I have seen quite a few sign ups come through for this. If you have not selected your spot for your swimmers please do so. You can find the sign up under the registration link on our website or HERE! All swimmers MUST do an evaluation!

Please remember each swimmer needs their own spot, if you are signing up 2 or more swimmers please select the appropriate number or spots or you can also just select 1 spot per swimmer (this sign up does not make you log in or submit an email address so you can do that). Also, please remember to put your swimmer's shirt size in the comments! Thank you to those of you who have done this. If you signed your swimmer up, but forgot to comment their shirt size, it is ok! Please go back and put in their shirt size!

Team Photos

You can RSVP for Individual and Team Photos on our website at https://collegestation.swimtopia.com/swim_meets. Memoir Photography will be at the pool to take these photos. 

Age Groups / Practice Times / Team Registrations

I will have a form ready to send out by April 15th where you will be able to sign up for a practice day! Swimmers will be able to swim EITHER M/W or T/TH April 28th-May 22nd. Starting May 27th we will then switch to morning and evening practices. It will only be sent to swimmers that have already registered and ALL swimmers will need to select their preferred practice days. There will be overflow options offered for the 9-12 year old section as well!
