Howdy Tsunami TAAF Swimmers!

The results from today's meet will take a bit longer than usual. I should be emailed the initial results once they are all entered. The computer system that runs the meet crashed right before meet start time. Luckily, my Supervisor (and swim parent) Jessica was able to step in & get their computer back up & running. It still put time entries behind by at least an hour. 

I've been told I will be emailed a results file for review. We will have a timeline for review & response. Then we will do the declaration for State Meet entries. 

This does give you a bit of time to change your response for the State Meet (if needed). Just reply to this email if you have a change to if your swimmer will attend the state meet or not - should they receive an invitation. 

State Meet invitations go to the top 3 swimmers automatically, if any swimmer in the top 3 cannot or chooses not to attend the invitation moves down the list of swimmers until we have 3 in each event. This is for Athletes 14 & Under who must qualify for State at the Region Meet. All swimmers 15 & Over may swim at the State Meet regardless of qualification.

If you know of any specific swims you would like for me to review (for time or disqualification) please reply to this email to let me know. I will make sure to review any specific swims you may have a concern about. 

The State has requested entry declarations by Monday so we should have all the final entries nailed down by then.

Thanks for hanging in there today! We made it! I know the TAAF Meet can be a challenge, but we got it done & represented the City of College Station well!
