Here are this week's updates...

Region 5 TAAF

Entries are due TOMORROW by 1pm for the Region 5 TAAF Swim Meet at the Bryan Aquatic Center on July 13th! 

I will have a little bit of wiggle room on getting entries turned in to Bryan, but entries are due to Bryan on Friday. With the Holiday on 7/4 I would like for everyone to have time to get the entries turned in & relays assigned. 

If you marked your swimmer as attending but did not select any events I have gone back through & marked them as UNDECLARED. Please go back & review ALL entries to make sure they are correct & what you expect. 

Relays; please keep in mind that younger swimmers have a pretty low max number of events. 8 & Under Swimmers - If you select 3 individual events they will not be able to swim in relays because 3 events is the max total of events for those swimmers. For 9-10 year old the max number of events is 4, so the same would hold true there.

Reminder, You will be asked to declare your intention for the State Swim Meet at the State Games of Texas BEFORE the meet begins on 7/13.

I've had several families ask about the timeline of the Region 5 TAAF Meet. We will not know that until the week before the meet. It is usually a bit longer than our Dual meets during the NWAL portion of our season, but no longer than our Divisional Meet. There are more teams and a larger age range, but each team does bring a smaller number of swimmers.

Don't forget to RSVP for the End of Season Banquet on July 19th! You can sign up to bring additional refreshments. Pizza will be provided by the City of College Station.
