Here are your early week updates...

Practice

We transitioned to our Summer Schedule today (well, we tried). Thank you for bearing with us during this morning's practice. 

Evening Practice is back ON though! The pool is up & running so we are good to practice tonight! 

Brenham Meet THIS Weekend!

Our meet against Brenham IN Brenham is this Saturday! Please get those meet entries completed. Remember to mark your swimmer appropriately if they are / are not available for relays. To be safe, get those entries done by 11:59pm Wednesday (that's tomorrow). I do not close the meet until I am able to get to the office on Thursday but I don't always know exactly what time that will be. If you have them done before Thursday it is best. 

Time Trials

We still have a few swimmers needing to get Time Trial times completed so they can sign up for meets. If you need to get this done PLEASE EMAIL ME. Please do not just show up with your swimmer saying they need Time Trials. We come to practice with a plan and stopping or changing that plan to take care of 1 swimmer who needs time trials may not be easy to do, especially when there are MANY other swimmers in the pool at that time. Please continue to schedule those directly with me. 

Divisional Swim Meet

Entries for the Divisional Swim Meet in Huntsville are OPEN! This is the meet that determines how each team places within our Division (those trophies you see in my office). Please make every effort to attend this meet if you are able! It's a fun meet with all of the teams together. In order to qualify for this meet swimmers must have at least 2 "splashes" (2 swim meets) and be legal (a DQ won't count) in the event they would like to swim. 

Invitational Meets

A couple of the Invitational Meets have been posted on our schedule. There has been some interest in the Pentathlon Meet as well. I have loaded that meet into the system as well, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to send a team to this meet unless there is enough interest in this meet. Please read over the meet invitation for each Invitation for details regarding these meets (they are attached to the event).
