Howdy Tsunami Families!

If you are receiving this email your swimmer (or swimmers) are registered for the swim meet tomorrow (5/27) against Navasota here at Adamson Lagoon! 

For most of our swimmers this has been the last week of school. So you know what that means right? 

The POOLS OPEN TOMORROW!!!

Yes, the pools open the same day we have a swim meet. This happens most years and we are used to it. But I do have just a few reminders and requests as this will be a VERY busy Saturday for our Staff.

* Please be on time; to the meet, to the ready bench, to volunteer shifts. We will start this meet early if we are able. Arrive on time make sure your swimmer is aware of their events (published to the app) and that they are AT THE READY BENCH when their event number appears on the cards. (NOT when their event is entering the pool.) We don't want swimmers to miss their events, but it is important for us to NOT hold up the meet. (Delaying the meet is also a disqualification, so it is good for us to keep that in mind as well.) I know it's hard on a Saturday (trust me, I know) but we really need to be on time this weekend.

* We will open the side gates towards the end of the meet for teams to exit as the lobby will be used for patrons entering the facility. Tomorrow, please be sure to use the side gate closest to you to exit. 

* Pick up your space. Check your surroundings well and please remove all of your items and any trash. There will be little to no time between our meet & patrons coming in to swim at the pool. Please be mindful of your space & your "things". 

* Help us take down. We will need to take down all of our shade canopies, extra tables, chairs, cones, etc. Many hands make QUICK work. If you are able to help with these things please either sign up or just show up to help with this task. 

That being said... THERE ARE STILL VOLUNTEER JOBS that we need help with. Please double check the sign up to see if there is something you can help with!

I have attached the heat sheet. We will be combining events & this will hopefully take about 30 minutes off our finish time as well.

6:45am - 7:15am Tsunami Check In

7:15am -7:45am Tsunami Team Warm Up

7:45am - 8:15am Visiting Team Warm Up

8:15am Pool Cleared for Meetings / National Anthem

8:30am Event #1
