Time Trial Meet Saturday May 6th
Howdy Tsunami Families!
The Time Trial Meet is THIS Saturday!
Entries are now closed. If you did not get your swimmer entered or did not enter them in all the events they are willing to swim you will now need to email me directly to get that updated.
Reminder ALL swimmers must have a Time Trial time in ANY event they would like to swim at future meets during the NWAL season.
If they did not get their Time Trial times at either evaluations OR during the Time Trial meet we will need to get them early this coming week in order to be able to enter the Bryan Meet on 5/13.
I will have a copy of meet entries with me on the deck tonight during practice. There are NO RELAYS during Time Trials. For meets where there are relays you will simply mark that your swimmer is available for relays, relay entries are done by the computer.
We still have LOTS of jobs to fill. If you have a spouse who is willing to volunteer & is not yet registered in our system please send me their name and email address so I can get them set up!
If you signed up for Hospitality items you may deliver those items tonight between 4:30pm & 7:45pm OR tomorrow (Friday 5/5) between 2pm & 5pm. If you come on Friday you will need to knock on the door as our pool is not open to the public yet.

*****
All, we will have one last SNT class THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT at Eagle Springs. This class is limited to the 1st 25 people that sign up. They MUST attend both the lecture and on deck classes - Thursday is the lecture from 6 - 9 and the on deck is Friday from 6 - 7. The on deck will be done during Eagle Springs time trials so expect a crowd. The classes are listed www.nwalcertified.com.
To those that are serving in a Team Representative role, Ready Bench/Clerk of Course role, or Computer/Clerk of Course role, and you do not currently have a Team Rep or Clerk of Course Certification, this class is for you. If you are serving in one of these roles and already have a Referee certification then you do not need this class/test/certification.
You can sign up for the 5/9/2023 7:00PM class online at nwalcertified.com and take your test before the first dual meet of the season. This class covers swimmer eligibility and waivers, officials' roles, responsibilities, meet entry rules, seeding, timeline, weather delays and postponements, protests, scoring, order of finish/time adjustments, ready bench communication, swimming up an age group and more. After the class you can take either the Team Rep test or the Clerk of Course Test (same material - different roles). There is no provisional status or on deck training. Once you pass, the test you are certified and as long as you log in each year to remain active you will stay certified.

See you at the pool!
