Monday 5/23 Team Updates
Howdy Tsunami Families!
Brenham Meet is THIS Weekend! (Yes, Memorial Day Weekend)
- Please get those entries completed by Thursday at NOON!
- If you would like for me to do your swimmer's entries please email me ASAP.
- Please be sure to properly mark your swimmer as; attending, attending no relays, or attending leaving early no late relays. If you know you will need to leave early please mark your swimmer appropriately so they are not assigned to late relays.
Divisional Meet Entries are OPEN!
Now that we have a couple of official meets completed I have opened the entries for the Divisional swim meet. Swimmers will still have the entry limits in place for the Divisional swim meet so you will need to mark your swimmer appropriately if they are available for relays.
The Divisional swim meet usually does go a bit longer than the dual meets as all 5 of the teams participating in our Division will be able to swim at this meet.
In order to qualify for the Divisional meet swimmers need to compete in at least 2 Dual meets and they need to achieve a legal official time in the stroke.
The Divisional Meet is where a lot of those Trophies in the office come from! We've got a strong team this year - It would be great to get that First Place trophy this year!
Invitational Meets have been loaded into our meet schedule and entries are OPEN
If you select your swimmer as "available" for the invitational meet you will automatically be able to see if they have qualified in any of the events available at the Invitational meets.
I will also be loading the actual invitations (including time standards) to the Invitational meets to the website this week. Please be sure to look under the Helpful Links tab for that information later this week.
We already have 58 Swimmers who have qualified for Trinity Summer Classic and 10 Swimmers who have already qualified for Ponderosa!
TAAF RSVPs
Please don't forget to submit your RSVP for the Region TAAF meet on July 9th!

Way to swim fast!
Lee County did run out of many of their ribbons. They have told me they will have them to us by the Divisional Swim Meet. I am still working on getting the ribbons they did have loaded into the family boxes.
If you notice a missing ribbon (from a meet that we hosted) please send me an email with the swimmer name, swim meet and event number. I can verify & get them a ribbon if needed.
Practice Set Up
Please remember that for the rest of this week we will still have the M/W & T/Th practice set up. If your swimmer cannot make their regular practice time we will do our best to make sure everyone gets to practice. BUT, in order to ensure each practice group is addressing each of the things we need to work on each week the practices DO repeat. Mon & Tue has the same practice and Wed & Thur have the same practice. This ensures most of the swimmers have the ability to work on the things the coaches notice need to be addressed at the previous swim meet.
Starting NEXT week we will move to our summer practice schedule!
Morning Practice
8 & Under 8am-8:45am M-F
9-12 year old 8:45am-9:45am M-F
13-15 year old 9:45am-11:15am M-F
Evening Practice

9-12 year old 7:45pm-8:45pm M-Th
13-18 year old 7:45pm-8:45pm M-Th
Swimmers are able to attend one practice each day on any day they are able to. They are not required to come every day, but they are able.
Memorial Day Holiday
We will NOT have practice on Memorial Day!
Lots of information today! I will circle around again with reminders on Wednesday of this week! Keep up the GREAT work!
See you at the pool!
