Howdy Tsunami Family!

In just ONE WEEK we have meet the Coaches and Swim Evaluations! Sign up for your spot HERE! Or there is also a place to sign up on our main web page as well. Each of these sessions will only take about 15 minutes. It is important to have your swimmer evaluated as not only does it ensure that each and EVERY swimming can complete at least 25 Meters completely unassisted (a team requirement) it also helps us place them in the appropriate practice lane so they will know right where to go when they arrive the following week. 

PRACTICE STARTS IN TWO WEEKS! Please review the website for information on where to order team suits. They are not a requirement but the kids definitely like looking like part of the team they are swimming with. The team suit is part of the fun! If you are new to swimming a competition suit is definitely recommended for practice. We will have a sizing kit here at the pool for swimmers who need to try on to determine a size (these suits are NOT for sale, everyone still needs to order from the website). Swimmers need to use the sizing kit BEFORE their evaluation; no one likes to put on a wet bathing suit. 

The Time Trial meet will be on May 7th and entries & job sign ups are OPEN on the website. If you will be here for the Time Trial meet please go ahead & get your swimmer signed up. If you will NOT be here on May 7th we can get your swimmer in for their Time Trial times during evaluations. All swimmers must have a CURRENT Time Trial time to compete in this season's meets, times from last season do not count. ALL swimmers are encouraged to swim ALL events for a Time Trial time (time trial times are not officially DQed for errors in form). So let's go ahead & set some base times!

Swim Team Capacity - Many of our sections are at a higher percent of full right now. I do have some overflow areas that I can open up again this year, but those groups are small. Please encourage your friends to go ahead & get signed up if they are interested. Below is where our practice sessions are currently sitting. We usually have a high volume of sign ups this week & next. 

8 & Under M/W: 36%

8 & Under T/Th: 31%

9-12 M/W: 83%

9-12 T/Th: 74%

13 & Older M/W: 50%

13 & Older T/Th: 57%
