Howdy Tsunami Family!

It's hard to believe we've been going for a MONTH already! I just wanted to send out a few updates as we head into our Summer Season!

MONDAY is a HOLIDAY! 

There will be no practice on Monday 5/31! The pools are officially opening this weekend so feel free to come up for some recreational swimming but there will be NO practice!

Summer Schedule starts on Tuesday JUNE 1st!

Monday - Friday Morning Practice Times

8 & Under 8am-8:45am

9-12 Year Olds 9am-10am

13 & Older 10:15am-11:45am

Monday - Thursday Evening Practice Times

8 & Under 7pm-7:45pm

9-12 and 13 & Older 8pm-9pm

Please bring your swimmer to the practice time appropriate for their age group. 

Please DO NOT bring your swimmer to a practice time that is NOT for their age group. IF we need to create an overflow group as we did in the Spring session we will address that as needed. (If you are open to joining an overflow group if needed you can let me know by replying to this message though.) During the first week or two we really need to figure out how many swimmers to expect at each practice time before we start making changes. 

Please send your swimmers with a water bottle to keep on deck. NO GLASS PLEASE. We have already had swimmers have to sit out of practice due to signs of dehydration. Please know that if they have to get out of the pool due to signs of dehydration we aren't able to let them back in during that practice session. Please help us keep them healthy & hydrated. 

Navasota Meet Entries are OPEN!

This is your first reminder that those entries will CLOSE Wednesday, June 2nd at 11:59pm! Please get those entries turned in & make sure to select if your swimmer(s) can do ALL relays, only EARLY relays or NO relays! 

If you still need to get some Time Trial times completed to be able to enter this meet those MUST be done by Tuesday PM practice. This will give me time to enter them & parents time to select entries for that meet by the entry deadline. 

I have not heard back from Navasota on what volunteer positions they need help with. I am hoping to hear back soon so I can open up those jobs as well. If I don't hear back from them by Monday I will just be loading enough to fill what is "normal" for an away meet and posting those to Swimtopia for parents to register.
