Howdy Tsunamis & Happy Wednesday!

I've had a few questions & I thought I would make sure answers were posted so everyone could see.

Q: I selected the wrong size Tsunami shirt or was assigned the wrong size shirt? I didn't receive a shirt?

A: Sometimes it's hard to tell what size shirt your swimmer will want/need until you actually see the shirts (kids grow, it happens). You can exchange your shirt size but you will need to make sure everyone helping with evaluations isn't busy with others at the time. It's easiest if you email me to tell me what size you would like to exchange to. Also, we are OUT of some shirts - we have NO ADULT LARGE or MEDIUM left. If you need one of those sizes you will need to return your other shirt & I will put you on a list for those shirts when they come in. 

If you didn't sign up for a time for a swim evaluation or came on a night that is different from what you signed up for we will not have your shirt ready for you. Please send me an email with your swimmer's shirt size & I will place it in the swimmer boxes once those are ready next week.

Q: Why do we need Time Trials? I just found out we cannot make it to the May 8th meet. How do I complete Time Trials now?

A: We may also be able to run some Time Trials on Friday May 7th if you know you cannot make the May 8th swim meet. Otherwise we will need to complete Time Trials during the times between practices during the week. I will need you to reach out to me to make sure we have you scheduled for these times - please do not just show up at the pool to complete time trials during practice. We cannot complete time trials during practice as it disrupts our lane assignments and we do not have the coaching staff to spare to do this right now. 

Q: We completed time trials in advance of the meet. When will I see these entered into Swimtopia?

A: I cannot enter the time trial times completed outside of the Time Trial Meet into the computer until we actually run our Time Trial Meet. So you will see those times entered AFTER 5/8. They will be in by 5/11 at the latest if they were completed before the 5/8 Time Trial Meet. 

Q: When & how do I sign up for the Time Trial Meet

A: Entries are OPEN for the Time Trial Meet on May 8th. Please get your swimmer registered if you plan on attending! If you will NOT be at the Time Trial Meet in person please DO NOT sign your swimmer up for the meet. They do not need to be included in the actual meet for me to be able to enter their times after the fact. You can find the sign ups for the Time Trial Meet on our website under the "NEXT MEET" section on the right side of the page. While you are entering your swimmer please be sure to sign up to volunteer as well!
