Howdy Tsunamis!

* Divisional Swim meet

Our Divisional swim meet is: 

Saturday 6/15/19 at College Station Middle School Natatorium

Check in starts at 6:15am

Tsunami Warm-Ups start at 6:40am

Event #1 starts at 8:30am

We have the first warm-up because we are the local AND the host team. We will have a big break between the finish of our warm-ups and the start of the meet. This is a great time to have a snack, hydrate & rest before the meet. Warm-ups are important as this is a pool our swimmers do not usually swim in & this is their opportunity to get used to this pool. 

We still have about 6 volunteer positions that need to be filled. If you are attending the meet please head over to our website to see if there are any positions you are able to help out with.

Our current timeline has this meet ending at 1:20pm.

* Pep Rally

We will be having a Pep Rally to prepare for the Divisional Swim Meet TOMORROW (6/14) during the morning practice! If you have not RSVP'd for this event please do so. That will allow us to have an idea of who will be there so we can plan for food & activities. 

We WILL BE getting in the water so come prepared to swim, we will do a little practice & some fun time as well. We will have refreshments and encouragement posters for athletes & families to work on. 

* Post-Divisional Schedule

This is the "post-divisional" schedule will start NEXT WEEK - on Monday 6/17:

8a - 8:45a          8 & under

8:45a - 9:45a          9-14

9:45a - 11:15a          11 & over

Evening practices will remain the same.

* Invitational Swim Meets

I am attaching invitational information to this email. If you RSVP for an invitational swim meet the available events will open up to be able to be selected. I will be emailing qualifiers (Trinity first) in order to coordinate sign ups for these meets. Please be looking for these additional emails.

* Post-season & TAAF  

Please don't think Tsunamis is over after the Divisional Swim Meet! We will practice until July 24th. We will have 2 meet opportunities in the month of July as well; Region TAAF on July 13th at the Bryan Aquatic Center and the TAAF State Meet July 25-28 at the TAMU Rec Center!
