Reminders...

Entries for our home meet against Navasota are due TONIGHT at 11:59p. Please make sure to get those entries in AND indicate availability for relays as well. 

Please remember that in order to swim in a Dual swim meet each swimmer must have a time trial time. If you still need time trial times we can do those at 7:45pm tonight. 

We only have TWO dual meets left! That means that IF your swimmer would like the opportunity to swim at our Divisional meet and they have NOT competed in a swim meet yet these are your last two opportunities to qualify for Divisionals.

In order to swim at Divisionals a swimmer must have accomplished 2 things; a legal swim time from a Dual meet in the event they would like to swim AND they must have participated in at least 2 Dual meets during the season. 

I know it seems like the swim season goes by very quickly - especially if you signed up after 4/29 (when we began). The NWAL season is finished the last weekend in June - including all Invitational meets. 

After the NWAL season we will begin our TAAF season. There are a couple of opportunities to swim at meets in July. They are formatted differently than our NWAL meets though so be on the lookout for more info about those as we get closer. 

We will also adjust our practice schedule VERY soon. (It seems even sooner this year as our season started earlier.) After Divisionals are over we condense our practice times a bit. At this point we are only looking at condensing times in the morning groups - we are anticipating a higher volume in the evenings so those will probably stay the same. 

Pentathlon

Pentathlon entries are due Friday 5/31 at 11:59pm. The time standards and meet invitation are attached. Please be sure to add up the times to make sure your swimmer qualifies for this meet. Each swimmer must swim all events at this meet as well. There is an additional $35 fee for this meet which is also due Friday 5/31 at 11:59pm. You can pay for your swimmer(s) here:

Swimmers have athlete report cards in their files as well as photos if you ordered them. We are halfway through our NWAL season & these athlete report cards will show you how your swimmer is progressing based on their meet performance. If your swimmer has not participated in a meet then there will not be any very useful information on their report card. Please be sure to pick these, along with any ribbons that have been loaded into the boxes up!
