Our meet against Brenham is this weekend! Here's what you need to know...

COLS at BREN

7:15am Check In

7:45am Warm Ups for COLS begin

8:15am Pool is cleared for Coach/Timer/Official meetings

8:30am Event #1

This is our first away meet & I think it goes without saying that we want to be the best example of College Station that we can be. This aquatic center can be a tight fit for our team. We are taking 85 athletes to this meet; setting up for athletes & their families can be tight & we can end up all over the place. Please make sure the coaches know where you will be. Please be aware of which events are being called to the ready bench & have your athletes there on time.

Please be sure to check in with the coach assigned to check in prior to the meet & verify your events/relays. Again, if you have not downloaded the Swimtopia App you should do that. I can already see my kids' events listed as this meet has already been merged. I know without looking at a heat sheet their event, heat & lane - remember though the heat & lane may change if events are combined. The most important number is the EVENT!

Invitationals

You should be able to see that invitational meets have been posted to the website when you click on the Events/Meet Schedule tab you will see them near the bottom of the list. They are not open yet but I will begin to open these after the Brenham meet so NOW is the time to learn about them.

This website has details (meet invitations) for each of these meets. I made sure to put them in there so that you have the names for each meet and you can find the appropriate attachment on the NWAL website regarding these meets. Please read over any of the invitations that you think your swimmer might be interested in and be sure to ask any questions you may have. ALL of these new meets that I have added are qualifying meets. Unlike our dual meets they will all have minimum time standards. I will begin sending out lists of qualifiers and reaching out to those swimmers soon so that we don't miss any sign up deadlines.

Again, if you have questions about these meets please ask them early. It can be very difficult (if not impossible) to get late entries in for these meets.
