What a GREAT season it's been! Thank you again for allowing us to coach your kids!

TAAF State Games of Texas was this past weekend & there were some swimmers who had a GREAT meet! Here are some of our Top 8 finishers - in the State! *indicates they broke a meet record as well!

Peter Breese: 6th place Boys 9-10 25Y Backstroke

Kaitlyn Owens: 1st place Girls 15-17 100Y Freestyle, 1st place* Girls 15-17 50Y Backstroke, 1st place Girls 15-17 50Y Butterfly, 1st place Girls 15-17 50Y Freestyle

Ella Coker: 8th place Girls 9-10 25Y Freestyle

Pam Criscitiello: 2nd place* Women 45-49 100Y Freestyle, 1st place Women 45-49 50Y Backstroke, 1st place* Women 45-49 50Y Freestyle, 1st place* Women 45-49 100Y IM

Stone Ahrendt: 8th place Boys 13-14 100Y Freestyle, 6th place Boys 13-14 200Y Freestyle

Relays

Boys 6&U 100Y Freestyle Relay achieved 6th place after an interesting race: Ryan Harris, Luke Matzig, Landon Matzig, Logan Locke

Girls 8&U 100Y Medley Relay got 7th place: Annabel Robison, Kathrine Harris, Jorja Spahr, Julie Matzig

Congratulations to ALL of our swimmers who competed in the State Games this past weekend! We are SO proud of you!

That being said; PLEASE pick up your ribbons & awards! The box with the remaining awards is in the office. Swim lessons will be going on through next Thursday August 9th. There will be someone in the office so you will be able to pick up these items between 8a - 11a until that time. If you need to make other arrangements to pick up awards please let me know.

There is also still time to RSVP for next year on the Tsunami website as well. If you plan on returning to Tsunamis next season please let us know & invite your friends!
