Howdy Tsunamis & Happy Wednesday!

It's Wednesday & that means we are gearing up for this weekends meet! I have "a few" reminders for everyone so please read on...

Our meet against Lee County is THIS Saturday 5/19. Be sure to get your swimmer signed up by 11:59pm TONIGHT (Wednesday)!

7am: Check in opens

7:15am: Tsunami Warm-ups

7:45am: Lee County Warm-ups

8:30am: Meet begins

We won last week's meet with a solid 659 points over Brenham's 242 points! I know that we can do it again this week! 

RELAYS!!! IF your swimmer DOES NOT want to swim relays please check the box to opt out of them when you sign up for the meet. The swimmers are really disappointed when they are assigned to a relay & it doesn't make because a swimmer doesn't show up for it. 

If your athlete does not opt out of relays please verify your relays with the Coach upon check in. It is important that if you are assigned to a relay that you know that you are on one and who you are swimming with. 

Coaches cannot coach the swimmers if we are being taken away to track down swimmers who have not shown up for their relays or events. The Coach at check-in will have a list of all events your swimmer is signed up for as well as a sharpie so they can write them down.

FILE BOXES

Please be sure to check the file boxes at practice each time you come. These boxes have files with family names on them and can contain; ribbons, picture orders when they arrive, communication, information, suits, etc. Items can be added to the box through out the week so please check your file weekly!

Volunteering

If you have volunteered for extra shifts please drop me an email with the information about when/how you volunteered. We will get all of that updated as needed. Remember, if you have 2 parents who will be volunteering this season I can get you BOTH added. I just need a name & email for the parent to be added.

Time Trials

There are still some swimmers who need to get time trials done at practice. Please get with me TONIGHT at practice. We will work to get them done so they can be entered in time for you to register for the meet this weekend! Please have your swimmer know which events they need to get times for (I don't have a computer with me on the swim deck).

Pictures

I see all of you taking pictures at the swim meets! Please email me those pictures so I can start getting them updated on the website! Please send them to [email protected].

Non-competitive swimmers

If your child will not be swimming in meets this season please respond & let me know. I can mark them as a non-competitive swimmer in Swimtopia.

Invitational Meets

I am starting to get the Invitational Meets loaded into Swimtopia! If you have questions about these Invitationals please let me know or there are many experienced parents who will be happy to talk with you about these exciting meet opportunities!
