    We are getting closer...

    Howdy Tsunami Family!

We are getting REALLY close to the beginning of our swim season. I just have a few things for you all today:

    1. Today is the LAST day of swim evaluations! If you haven't had a chance to come to an evaluation tonight is your night! Right here at Adamson Lagoon from 5pm-7pm. Especially if you are new to Tsunamis. Aside from getting the chance to show us what an amazing swimmer you are, this is a GREAT opportunity to meet your Coaches, try on swim suits, and make sure you have all the information you need to start the season on the right foot.

    2. Entries are OPEN for Time Trials. If you haven't had a chance to sign up yet please do that. Any issues we were aware of have been addressed so please let me know if you have any problems with this process. I would rather know now, well in advance of the meet so we can get all the kinks worked out before our first dual meet. I have even been told that it has worked from an iPhone, if you were with the team last year then you know this is HUGE! Having a system that can be used from your mobile device will be very helpful.

    3. If you CANNOT make it to Time Trials please let me know. We will be setting up a time to get that done during the first week of practice. This way you will be ready to register for the first dual meet at the same time as everyone else.

    4. MULTIPLE PARENTS!!! Yes! We can do this now! It's rarely "fun" to learn a new system, but one of the perks of this system is that we can enter BOTH parents. If you would like to BOTH receive the emails, we can set you up for that. If you have two parents that volunteer & you would like to properly identify who is doing what, we can do that. We can even set your swimmer up to receive email reminders of their own, if your swimmer has an email address. I just need YOU to email ME all of the appropriate updates & I can start getting those into the system.

    5. Practice starts NEXT WEEK! May 1st! We know that while school is still in session many of you may be splitting time between multiple activities. If you are trying to decide which days of practice are the best please keep in mind that THURSDAYS will be when we will be working on Relay Transitions for the following weekend. The swimmers always do better on their relays if they have had the opportunity to practice their transitions with the group.

As always ~ please let me know if you have any questions!
